I guess that's how I can afford to have eight vehicles....Very seldom do I sell one...and when I do I make it worth my time.....I sold my 89 IROC-Z with over 100K miles for an astonishing $10K in 2001 when I bought my first Corvette....When I sold my 2002 C5 Convertible in 2008 it had 60K miles...but it still commanded $32,500 when similarly equipped cars were barely fetching $25K...and when I sold my 93 Z-71 GMC 4x4 in 2004 with 60K miles I also fetched $10K for it.....I take EXTREMELY good care of my stuff..(obviously)

Does not include program cars leased while working at GM (a new car every 10,000 miles !). Great employment benefit. One person ordered two Corvettes at the same time and turned the first back in after completing a 10,000 mile tour of the US in 4 weeks. Lots of people ordered the final version of the Buick Grand National.

Lessons learned
Don’t drive an automatic Firebird minutes after driving a manual MGBGT. Stamping on the power brake and shifting into reverse thinking you are changing into second isn’t good for the person behind you.
