Default A Little "Makeover" (Calipers, Wheels, Stripes, Blackouts) LOTS OF PICS

Thought I would share some pics....Painted my calipers and put on my new 19/20 repros, wrapped with Nitto Invos. Last weekend put on my stripes and blacked out my side markers. I would love to say the stripes look perfect, but there are some flaws if looked at closely (i didnt find it too easy to install). Took me a good 14 hrs to paint my calipers. I hope it holds up, because they look way better.

I would love to drop the vette on stock bolts now that i decreased the diameter size on the tires, but im afraid of how the suspension will take it, and what i will hit here in Tucson.

Shout out to St. Char for the idea with the wheels! Thanks!

Comments appreciated. I hope to have a black halo and perhaps new front bumper and/or hood for the next mod (i am now officially addicted)!

Looks sweet, but will look even sweeter after you drop it! The halo will really set it off as well!

Very nice. Now drop it on the bolts it will be killer. BTW, what did you use to paint the calipers? Just high temp spray? and how did you keep from painting the letters on the calipers?

I just used the Dupli-Color brush on kit found at autozone. Everyone says powdercoating is the way to go, but i figured i will try $16 worth of paint first and see what happens. Once i was done, used a razor blade on the letters, and worked perfectly. I didnt even use chapstick

I think i will be dropping it. I am just concerned with these speed bumps i go through when entering my base. Doesnt dropping it on stock bolts hurt the suspension?

Like the blackout side lens and the calipers but can't say I like the wheels. Will look great with the halo painted black I think.

Very Cool! Nicely done...now slam it! What did you use for the blackout on the lens?

Looks great, I would definitely go with the Black Halo and I would have gone with Black Wheels.
