Zaino Products?
Can Zaino products be purchased over the counter? I see them available on the web....but would like to go out and get them at a retail outlet.

I haven't seen them in any retail store around here-I always order their stuff from their web site. They ship quickly so it never has been an issue.

I do believe they allow people to become distributors, but not at the retail store level. You are not going to walk into Walmart or a parts store and find their products. Just order from the website. That is what I do and items arrive in just a few days.

Sal Zaino is quite savy about marketing his products, and very sticky about them being used wrong.... . thats why you wont find them at Auto Zone, Target, Wal Mart, etc. Word of mouth takes care of his advertising along with results from enthusiasts... The few that are distributors go out of their way to make sure the purchaser knows the proper way to use the products to get the fantastic results.
I don't blame him for taking this approach at all.

I believe there is a distributor in Nebraska. He is on the forum as JJU. A quick search for author will bring him up
For Salad, ya, spritz a little Z-6 or Z-8 on your salad, gives it a nice Apricot or Cherry flavor and slides down nicely.

Zaino ships from a distribution warehouse in Kansas. I ordered Monday morning and got the package in the Houston area Wednesday afternoon. Not the first time to get two day delivery either when ordering Zaino products.

The local distributer here in Los Angeles does a really good job at shipping, as long as I order by 3PM, I normally get my products by the next day.
My favorite product is ZPC with a white pad using a PC.

I think most Zaino users are car enthusiasts. The product is sold as a car show product and selling it at the local China-Mart or car parts outlet would put the product in the hands of the less dedicated detailer. Zaino needs to be applied correctly or the results will look like you used Vaseline to wax your car. Less is better with lots of coats. Not one big gob on the cars finish.

I love Zaino but for my other cars, I'll usualy go with something else because they are daily drivers. I've seen a bunch of Vettes with different preferences and none really stick out as being superior though. I do agree that if you have the time, joints to put on a bunch of coats then Zaino is the way to go.

I help a friend by a 03 EB Z06 last spring. The owner proudly made it a point to tell us that the car had only Zaino on it. It was not a daily driver, yet the finish looked like sh!$. Swirl marks everywhere, and water spots on the rear deck and roof. We got the car home, and buffed most of the swirl marks out and some of the water marks out. Its not so much what you use, but how you use it. BTW AutoGeek, (forum vendor) has some great how to clips on his website..
