Default Your favorite clay bar?

I am going to try clay barring the velocity yellow on my vette and wonder what those of you that have done it a few times like for clay bars. Any tips or tricks would be appreciated so it goes smooth...

I was wondering the same thing. I recently purchased a new 2009 Cyber Gray C6 and as soon as I get some decent weather I want to detail with clay. With so many different clay products available out there to choose from - which one do forum members prefer? (Pinnacle; Meguiars; Wolfgangs; Zaino; Turtle Wax Ice; others?)

I think the Mequiars is the brand everyone in my family likes the best. Tried the Turtle wax brand and it seemed to fall apart in our hands. Not very long lasting at all. These are the only two brands we have tried.

you can spend $30 on a good clay bar, but honestly clay magic works pretty darn good for a fraction of the cost and it can be found almost anywhere.

The only one I've used is Turtle Wax Ice. Easy to use, very sticky, lasts a long time. Just understand that you break off a small piece, roll into a ball and then mash on the windshield to make a thin pad. That way it forms to the surface better and is very hard to drop. If you do drop it, THROW THAT PIECE AWAY!!!

Any particular tips on using it? Or just follow the directions on the box?

All the clay comes from the same quarry in Japan so it doesn't matter which one you choose. The rest is hype and marketing.
