Have heard that Chevrolet will offer two new colors to the Corvette line-up.

Inferno Orange (currently available on the 010 Camaro), and a new "Super Sonic Blue."

The Corvette team will unveil the 2011 Vette during the C5/6 Bash, April 30 weekend. We'll know for sure then.

Ugh. Inferno Orange. I thought that looked like crap on the Camaro. So they ditch AO and go with IO...step way down imho. Glad I already got mine.

I agree....the Inferno Orange is a horrible color...both Daytona Sunset and Atomic were beautiful shades of orange. Couple Chevy dlrs close by had Inferno Orange Camaros.....they wholesaled them to get rid of them as people looking for new Camaros wouldn't look twice at the Inferno.

i had to look up inferno orange, they should keep atomic. so much more depth and gloss, Inferno looks flat and more red then anything.

If they had AO for 2010 I would've had a real difficult time deciding. AO is a stunning color.

Oh well, I'm sure there will be plenty that love it. I wonder if any new interior colors are going to be available?

damn. i had the colors right (blue and orange) just was wrong about which one was new.

and i agree. GM, you made a horrible decision to put IO on the Corvette. You will not sell many.

Inferno looks like the orange on the first gen Camaro....wasn't it "Hugger orange" or something like that?

Wow........I went and looked at an inferno orange Camaro.......that is a very ugly color. It reminds me of hugger orange, but maybe one shade darker..............Hugger orange was OK in the 60's, but I think it would like like crud on the Corvette.....

That's funny. I've never seen it on a Camaro, but as soon as I read "inferno" I knew it had to be one of those colors that looks like a cross between red and orange. I'd like to see it on a C6 before I pass judgment, but I'm probably going to hate it.

Looks okay in the sunlight, but not near as nice as the previous two Corvette oranges. WTF is GM thinkin'? Why not give us two new colors....maybe a nice version of gold and a green? Haven't seen those on Vette for a while.

I dunno, guys and gals. Inferno looks to me to be close to whatever that '69 PaceCar Camaro color was. And if that's the case, it's a retro color for a retro-new car.* It may not be the same for the new C6. But we will know in about 70 days or so...........

*then again, I think there was at least a C3 with that color.
