ZR1 at autoshow - saw 5.0L Ford Engine also
They had a nice CG ZR1 at the auto show. I was cringing as people were pawing it. I could see swirl marks on the hood already.
No zo6 that I could see, though, but a nice GS also in CG.
Well, I also saw a 5.0L engine from Ford. This was the first I heard about it. Good article on it here:

Some good tech in that engine. Funny thing is that when someone else complained that the GM engines are low tech, and reading this article you could agree, it still turns out that the GM engine (LS3) weighs less and is more efficient, although larger in displacement.

That new 5.0 is an awesome motor on paper. It's the stuff we could not even dream of in a low cost car awhile back. It may even get me to part with some money for a new daily driver toy car. But that's the problem isn't it? A Mustang really isn't much of a car but it's been awhile since I drove one. This Spring it will be off for a test drive and I'm looking forward to that.

Safety Car
Agree...Doesn't really matter if you don't like ford- it will be good for the consumer and help encourage better stuff in the pony/rwd muscle car segment.
