Pics-My vette lives in the real world, I love driving it everyday
Update, entered my vette in a judged car show where they based it on condition/cleanliness, 18 vettes in my class, I took 2nd place!!!!!!! Hopefully I'll attend some more shows this season
Well all I can say is that I love driving my vette. I have had it about 1.25 years so far and still love it, I have 23,000 great miles on it. I have enjoyed everything about the vette hobby, we have a great Corvette Club here in Arkansas (remember our show is coming up in April). Well I thought I would post some pics of the car, I've used it for hauling some plants, since I moved across town and bought a new house. The vette got hit on the highway over a month ago, (it was a hit by a car and they drove off after hitting me, they were driving crazy, luckily I kept the car under control, it could have been a lot worse). It spent 1.5 weeks at the body shop, I'll try to post some pics when I can of it fixed, the paint work took longer than normal cause of the color, you can't blend it. The worst thing about it is that since it was painted they said I can't wax it till the paint cures, that will be difficult!!!!! Anyway everyone out there, enjoy your vette, have fun with it, join a great club, and most of all drive it, these were meant to be driven, they can always be fixed. My father has an old big block vette with 320,000 miles on it, he loves driving it. It was difficult driving the car in this shape because I always want everything to be perfect. Please note that the car was just fixed, the restoration shop did a wonderful job. The inside is perfectly clean and always has leather conditoner on the seats. I have have never let a bug sit and stain the paint, the front looks perfect. The only time it was vette was ever dirty was when I was moving into my new house, or when we had tons of rain. Anyway I take pride in my vette, just showing how a vette can be brought back up to great shape, and again it was ashame that this happened to it, but again it wasn't my fault, I was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
The vette fixed.

I threw up a little at the plant scene!
Mines a garage queen but I still enjoy keeping pristine and driving it. Its a special ride car not transportation.
Have fun with her!

Yikes, some harsh comments, hey y'all I do wash my vette twice a week, and it gets waxed once a week, unless it is too cold, I do love taking it to car shows, It is in great shape, the dirt was cleaned up, it's probably cleaner than most vettes out there, and the shine is probably just as deep as wolfdogs! It got hit, it wasn't my fault, they were a jerk and drove off! It was fixed at a classic car restoration/hot rod shop! Anyway enjoy your vettes, I take great care of her.

IS THAT THE SAME CAR?
IT LOOKS DIFFERENT WITHOUT THE POTTING SOIL IN THE REAR AND THE ICYCLES ON THE MIRROR
IT KILLS ME TO SEE A VETTE LIKE THAT, NEVER LESS A JSB.

I say more power to ya man! It's your car and you can enjoy it any way you want as long as your not breaking any laws. At the other end of the spectrum, there's a guy at work who bought a new 03' anniversary edition vert. He now has 1200 miles on it and didn't put any miles on it last year. It stays in a bubble in his garage but he just ordered a set of one-off wheels to the tune of about $8k. What ever floats your boat.
