White "dust" on interior
I know this has been discussed a lot, but I have not seen anyone mention a cure. A simple damp cloth wipes it away but it comes back, and in different places. Has anyone used a product that seems to halt the reappearance of this weird white haze? I would even use gawd-awful Armor All if it kills this.

Don't think there is a permanent cure. It's probably oxidation of whatever plastic is used for the dash. Maybe someone has found something that lasts longer.....

Try some Aerospace 303
You just think you have haze. Look at the dash of this 2009 Dodge Challenger...

I agree with the 303 Aerospace Protectant. Great stuff. Does not leave a residue like Armor All, and has high UV protection.

303 Protectant seems to prevent it but it also made the dash a little shinier which I didn't like beause of glare.

I use the 303 as well....always wipe it off before it dries....no problem with shine/glare.....I am quite fussy about nothing "shinny" with the trim and leather....with 303 on the trim vinyl and composite surfaces and Zanio on the leather I always have that matte "new look" on the interior.

None. You must clean/drive your car often. Mine is an 07 and is garage kept, and has tinted windows. I notice it mostly when it sits for long periods of time.

Get Some!
The Sun doesn't do it. My car was stored indoors, with a car cover for 13 months and the dash was white when I picked her up. I think it's some kind of out-gassing from the plastic.

I get mine on the drivers side door. I did use 303 and it helps a lot. This is a Vette issue that need to be resolved. I am sure that the FEDS, who own GM, will be all over it.........

Mother's Back to Black
I've used a lot of different plastic protectants/restorers over the years, I've used 303 for over twenty years, first using it on my boats. A couple of years back I found Adams' In & Out spray to work a little better than 303 on my black plastics. About a year ago, I started using Mother's Back to Black and found it to work much better than 303 and In & Out to cover oxidation, hide scratches and mars, and to return black plastic back to a deep black. Not only does Back to Black restore plastics back to their original luster better than any other product that I have used it holds up and out last the others too. Out of all the products that I have used, it is hands down the best for restoring plastics and retaining that new look. And no, it does not leave that wet shine Armor All look. It does leave a slight shine - Note pic below.

A friend recently told me that he used the new Turtle Wax "Ice" product on his C5 interior. His car looked really good so I bought some to try...I am very picky about any product that I use on my cars. I hate that shiny look on the interior! I used it and I really like it. I leaves a flat finish...no glare or shine at all. It made the dash look brand new! I haven't used Turtle Wax since the 70's, but I will be using this stuff.
