I don't know if this is the one you've seen but here is one that I've created.

Great chart, the visual really shows how dramatic the drop-off in sales in 09/10 have been, compared to past years.

Yes, it sure does. The 2010 number was year to date as of December 31, 2009 for the current 2010 model year shipments.

Great visual of the data Paul. Added to the C6 FAQ under information and trivia.

Paul-
Are your numbers for each calander year, or model year?
I'm guessing they are model year, because of the 0 for 1983

We may be on track to have even fewer Corvettes produced in MY 2010 than the disasterous MY 2009.

The good news is that production numbers are more closely correlated to demand, GM won't be giving the cars away like they did last year. Bad for those who want to get the best possible deal, but good in the long run to lay the foundation for profits in the future. In the long run, No profit = No Corvette.

And no matter how creative GM get's with scheduling production/shifts etc or tweaking the current C6 model line up at BG one has to wonder how long they can continue operating the BG facility with such a low volume vehicle like the Corvette. If they continue on the current path all Corvette's will look alike and sales will continue to tank.

GM needs to add a new line of vehicles to the BG facility ASAP, we should fear the consequences if production isn't expanded.

One can easily see why GM was planning to pull the plug on the Corvette in 1992. After the initial thrill of the new C4 in 1984, sales went south big time and showed no signs of recovery. The C5(and the few people at GM that had faith in the Corvette and convinced GM's upper management to shell out $250 million for the C5's R&D and tool up) saved the Corvette nameplate.

No graph update, but I can give you production #'s for '10-'12

2009-16956
2010-12194
2011-13596
2012-11647

With the exception of 1997, Corvette sales have been the lowest in the past 3 years since 1961!

And since the 07 seems to have the highest sales numbers for the C6s, We can infer it was because 07 was the best and last year of the Great LS-2 powered Corvettes. Later year Vettes were saddled with the LS-3 which has clearly driven down sales numbers.......... thus making the 07 the last of the truly collectable and desirable C6s
