I would like to know also, been thinking about doing the same.
Most of the ppl are going with a the c6 18 front wheel, widen to 10.5 or 11 inches and the offset is fine on the rear.
Let us know which way you go.

I believe TMRoc is correct...at least from the C5 z06 wheels I looked at. I was hoping to go with an 18" wheel in back for better tires, but learned the off-set would make them stick out (slightly) of the stock C6 fenders.
It would be great if someone makes a wheel that will work...let us know for sure.

The C5 Z06 18x10.5 rears will work, as will the 17x9.5 fronts, which is what I use on the rear of my C6 Z06 for drag racing purposes. I personnaly use 17x9.5 repo's on the back with MT ET Street II's in 295/40/17 sizing. Lighter wheel, more tire sizes to select from, more brands available, and they are MUCH cheaper than the 18" sized DR's.
For drag racing purposes only, I would recommend the 17" fitment over the 18" fitment for the reasons stated above.
Good luck.

So to make sure I understand you correctly, you're saying that the C5 Z06, 18X10.5 will fit on the rear of a c6, the offset is correct or close to the c6 and it will not stick outside the fender? For "drag racing only" you can use a 17X9.5 on the c6 rear and it will not stick out either?
The 17x9.5 almost looks like a space savers on the back of my C6 Z06 but they get the job done inexpensively.
The C5 Z06 wheel option is very popular with the C6 drag racing guys.

They will fit. I have some on my car right now. The front's between the caliper and inner wheel is tight but these rims aren't balanced inside only. I'm only borrowing them.

Correct on all of the above. I say 17x9.5 for "drag racing only" because aesthetically they look pretty small on a C6 Z06 for daily use

I wanted to do 17s but im getting a KILLER deal on a set of 18x10.5 c5 z0 wheels. If its not going to work real well then i will pass it up, but there are some MT ETstreets in an 18 that should hook better then my invoes. They just dont hold the power all that well once i hit Tq peak.
I got my 17" repo's off the popular auction site for $60.00 a piece
If you are planning on making regular trips to the drag strip, 17" wheels are going to be the more economical choice.
MT's will definetly hook MUCH better then Invo's (which don't hook for me at all at the drag strip).
Good luck

There are a number of DR's in the 18" category, but they are significantly more expensive then the same tire in the 17" sizes...sometimes by as much as $100.00+ a tire !!!

60 foot best time 1.81 I believe, best qtr mile time 12.36 , not 100% sure on the 60 foot I would have to go out in the pole barn and dig up some time slips.
I bumped this because someone sent me a message about it. Could not find my old thread I had all sorts of pics on there. This is the company that did my wheels, not the chrome the 2 inch widen job. http://www.weldcraftwheels.com/

Also you guys there are online calculators, you can enter the wheel offset of both wheels and it will tell you to the mm how far in or out the wheel will be.
Just google wheel offset calculator and I think you will find one. :-)
