Default Introducing Jake 20 - Pics

Finally here!
Childhood dream and bucketlist item checked off.
I decided to take advantage of the great deals prior to the new year - 0% as well as ginormous rebates.
Interestingly enough, I wasn't even looking for a CSR - in fact I didn't know what a CSR was before last month. I was looking for as close to a base Z06 as possible - with the only addition being comp grey wheels. I was set on silver as well.
So, I was looking around for a 1LZ silver with comp grey wheels, and no other options installed. I found a couple, and was getting ready to pull the trigger on one, when I stumbled upon this thing while looking through a dealers inventory list online. It was a silver 1LZ..but it didnt show up on the Jeffhardy list for some reason. I checked the sticker out and saw the RPO:CSC
I did some research and decided it was worth the few extra K since it seems to have at least some collectible value...it is 1 of only 20 made.
The dealer gave me a pretty good deal as well, so I went ahead and splurged.

This CSR is number 20 of 72 - It was the 9th Z06 off the line for this series.
There are only 10 silver and 10 black of the CSR Z06's
Not sure why these don't show up on Jeffhardy, but I looked around, and it doesn't seem like any of the CSRs are showing up using that tool.

So anyway..enough blabber...I know what you want, You want the pics...
Here ya go.

The last pic, I was cold as ****, but happier than ****.
Thanks for all the input and information you guys have given me, this board is incredible. You will be seeing more of me here.

Scott

I really like the way they did the stripes on the car. I like the way they used the crossflages to split the stripe down the middle. Very unique!! Very tastefully done car...

I am a convertible guy but if buying a coupe that's the one I would buy.

Very, very nice.

Congratulations.

Peace, out.

PS:

Not sure about the "jakes" on the pillars but like 'em all other places.

Default Congratulations!!!

There were 52 coupes, and 20 Z06's. I think the door numbers will tell you which number 1 - 20 that you have. Nice car.

look for CSC, http://www.bowlinggreenassemblyplant...VetteStats.pdf

Oh, it is definately Jake 20

I say 9th Z because they weren't created in order. ie. number 1 was a Z06, but number 2 I believe was a coupe...etc.
They are numbered 1-72 - mine is number 20 but I went back and checked - it is the 9th Z in the list.

Awesome car!! What are you going to do with those #20 stickers? Also, how about a pic of the special engine cover.

I am going to keep all the stickers and documentation in the pizza box for now. I will probably do at least 'some' tracking of the car, and I may try to mount the stickers on a custom made door magnet, so that I can take the numbers off when I leave the track.

I am at work now, but I will post the FRC pics tonight!

Thanks for the posts guys!
