Oem pedals are just too slippery when wet. Has anyone changed them out, and what brand? Pics if you have them.

Ya got me!
So good night and good luck in your search for replacement pedals. By the way, I agree that they are definitely slippery when wet!

I have Elite Engineering's pedals which I bought directly from them. You can go to their site and find out more info. Here's a pic of mine . . .
. . . and a closeup of them on johnodrake's vette, which he posted on another thread.

I ordered a set from Sullivan Racing, I looked around and really couldnt find a better deal on the 4 pc system. I called them up and got a very good feeling about the quality of their work. Especially when that is all they have done for 13 years is make pedals. I am still waiting for my order because I just placed it last week and will update you guys on the progress

You might also look at the CG "Racing Pedals". I did the diamond grid pattern...they look great and really improve the "stickiness" of the pedals. Install is pretty easy, but there are advantages for contortionists.

I hear you! I really try and dry my feet when I get in the vette. If it becomes too much of a bother, you could use some aviation wing walk paint on the pedals. It is non-skid. Available at many aviation sites, such as Sporty's or Aircraft Spruce.

When I opened your post, I was actually wondering when GM started building flowers into the vette. I thought maybe the Museum was going over the top with R8C. By the time the post opened I realized you were talking about pedals and I recognized that late hours and advancing age are a bad combo for reading on the forum.

Yeah I deserved that, late night... Hehehe
Not that I drive the car in the "rain"... But more so after washing her.

Here's a picture of my stock clutch that I modified with some bolts:

This took pressure off of a neuroma on the bottom of my foot. After the foot healed, I left the bolts for better grip. (and slightly shorter reach)
It never rains here so I don't know how it would work when wet. But I'd bet with a little thought and some rubber grommets or something, one could modify the stock pedal for wet grip.
