You can actually install the GM one either way. It comes with double sided tape as well as the extra studs for drilling 4 extra holes.

It also comes with a template for the exact location of the holes to be drilled if desired.

I decided that this was going to be permanent so I drilled the holes and installed it myself. Not hard to do at all, just takes some nerve to drill into your +$50,000 dollar car.

Just takes some patience to be sure you do it right the first time.

The fit and finish and color match was perfect.

Yes you can install either way, I personally prefer the drill and bolt, but some would rather not drill holes. More of a personal opinion.

We have built a very good reputation on these forums in a very short time, and I don't appreciate someone threatening that.
