Default Apsis' POLL: Are you interested in the Carbon Roof like ZR1?

Hi Guys,

Are you interested in the Carbon Replacement Roof like ZR1 have?

It will be "REAL" Carbon replacement parts (not core exchange lamination) and will be very light weight.

Please let us know your honest opinion. We are evaluating if the demand is strong enough to cover the tooling cost.

I would be interested but it would probably be more than I would pay, $400-500.

BTW, the stock plastic roof cover is very light as well. I don't see any appreciable weight savings.

I would not be interested. I think that the carbon look is appealing, but not something I'd like to have displayed on the exterior of my expensive car.

i think it would be a good option for owners to have IF it would be competitive to a replacement roof AND wouldnt have that stupid peeling issue that the stockers have.

honest opinion, they will look good on any brighter color car.

Interest level is gonna be based on bottom line cost.

Nope.

It can't be much lighter, if at all, than the polycarbonate roof. Plus, what the heck would it cost??

And then, there is that unfinished look of carbon fiber . . .
