Default Z51 Badges...Yes or No?

What is the general thought about putting the Z51 badges on the front fenders. I know it's a personal preference, but what is the consenus of the forum?

Anyone have pictures? Thanks.

btw, I did a search and could not find this topic, but I'm guessing it has been talked about.

Give it another hour and you're gonna regret asking this question. Have a fire extinguisher ready?

I spent a lot of time modding my car and wanted to call it something. Since I had the Z51 option, I decided to order black chrome with yellow lettering Z51 badges.

I have no regrets. I make sure to explain what I did to anyone that asks.

Some are against it but who cares. Do what you want.

GotChrist:

I don't want to start a flame war. I did a search and couldn't find my asnwers. It's not like I'm asking if it's alright to put Z06 badges on a vert.

The Z51 badge would enable you to announce to the world that your car is optioned for autocrossing in smooth parking lots but is inferior handling everyday roads. Why would you admit that?

I normally say no to all badges that look like a Z06 badge (very close to Z51) but in Raazors case, the twin turbo added to it makes the car greater than a Z06 warranting the badges.

I really do like yours because you added the twin turbo part. Spectators see the badge and among closer examination are like wtf not a Z06 ha. I approve.

I was at at a car meet and saw a C6 with Z51 "badges". Even Corvette owners (all of us) gave it the thumbs down. Sometimes less is more.

Default C'mon, man. Just do it.

This thread puts the "Where can I /Should I /get a Z51 badge?" threads over the top for the "Most Posted Thread Award" for 2009! Close second are the "F55/Z51 Comparison" threads.

C'mon, man. Just do it.
Look up Austin, he does a great job.
