100,000 miles
Turned 100,000 miles on C-6 corvette today
Even drove it in the rain.
Still have original brakes on front (replaced rear pads at 97,000 miles)
Have replaced water pump twice, sway bar connections three times, differential clutch packs once, changed clutch fluid twice, replaced serpentine belt once, air filters four times , am on third set of tires (plus two that had to be replaced due to nails / road hazard....thank goodness for road hazard insurance)
Have washed it approximately 230 times, polished and/or waxed about 50 times
Now working on the second 100,000 miles !!!

Congrats.....Good to see someone else actually driving their Corvette. Some think putting 3000 miles on their vette in a year is a driver. NOT !!!! I've found mine to be relatively reliable (compared to any other car) too. Good luck on your second 100,000 miles....

I'd love to see this car compared to a 100,000 mile Ferrari as far as cost to maintain goes. IMO no comparison.
People can knock my Chevy but they build a pretty nice sports car.

My son can only drive his Ferrari 2,000 miles per year
If you have an exotic. The mileage allowed for the lowest insurance rates is 2,000 miles per year.
More than 2,000 miles a year it goes from $1,000 every 6 months
to $11,000 every 6 months.
Also, my 2008 C6 Auto with paddle shifters is sooo much smoother
shifting. His pops every shift. This is part of the Ferrari thrill?
Also, he had his belts serviced/replaced and a tune up.
$27,000. Then it had to back 3 times for "Adjustments"
Love my Vette! He is so envious!
Every time he needs to go in for service, I follow him to the Dealer
and then drive him home. He knows my 430HP will beat his Ferrari.
I love living the provident life.

WAY TO GO !!! My 2005 has 53,000 miles. My 1998 c5 had 144,000 miles. And my 1993 c4 had 124,000 miles. All in tip top shape! I'm shooting for higher mileage on this one! It's a keeper!
