I changed from a coupe to a vert last summer. Though I still love the coupe, we're having a blast cruising around the lakes on nice MN days with the vert. There's nothing like the unobstructed view. The verts are quieter with top down also, not as much wind noise. The coupes get alot of that "woof-woof-woof" effect at higher speeds.

Default Go Convertible

A different point of view: I love the notch looking roof line on the C5 coupe's but the technology, power, etc and trunk space of the C6. The lack of trunk space with a coupe's top stored has been mentioned already.

I live in St. Albert, Alberta and I plan to take a (final) drive with the top-down some time this weekend. The temperature forecast is to peak at only 10 C. (equals 50 F.). But I find the car's heater excellent and by keepking the windows up, wearing a ball cap I'm fine in just a tee shirt running at city speeds.

Agree on the Corsa exhaust note.

We went with the Coupe for storage, put the top down on a Vert, especially the auto version and you can store what a six pack of beer

I have to say when I was looking for my Vette, I was interested in Coupe's. After finding a great deal on an '07 'Vert I went for it. With the power top, I have it down all of the time - way more than I think I would with the Targa. It's a piece of cake to raise/lower it at a stoplight. I drove top-down today (in Chicago) and with the heated seats enjoy it down to 45F all the time.

I've never looked back and lover the Vert now.

I've had both.

My 09 Vert is the best so far.

Get a Vert, they're awesome.

Get the convertible. You can get a hardtop for the convertible, if you need it.
