Corvettecarl,
Contact Tommy Jr. at MacMulkin Chevy. He is a forum dealer. He'll give you employee pricing even without a certificate. I've got my GS ordered through him and I'm in Alabama. Great guy to deal with.
Good luck,
Billy

I really haven't found the supplier discount to do much, as the dealer profit margin is pretty low. If you can get your hand's on an employee discount, that's the way to go. There's usually a built in $500 sales commission on these. Keep an eye on the GM Family First web sight, as they sometimes shares specials to the open public. I do some contract work for GM and sometime's hear about this stuff. Last year contract workers were allowed employee pricing for awhile. You needed proof of an employee I.D. and take delivery from in stock vehicles by month's end. Called the number on the GM site and didn't need to prove anything. Gave me a discount code good for 6 month's. Mentioned it to brother who's never been on GM soil, and he got it too. Don't forget to ask your dealer about the $1000 loyalty cash for owning the Vette. As for supplier, most GM employee's and retiree's are able to give two of these out a year.

Supplier Pricing happened to come up in a discussion at the dealers about a month or so ago. Compared to Invoice there was not much of a difference on an 09. Maybe it was about a couple of 100 dollars or so.

I ordered my 2010 Camaro in August, got it Monday, and I threw away the origional order form. I do remember the difference between supplier and GMS was around $200. Hope this helps.

Thanks All
Thanks everyone. I know the volume dealers are very close to the supplier price. Depending on the car it can make a huge difference with local dealers. I saved 11k on my suburban in '05 when most dealers had markups on them. Another dealer agreed to match the volume dealers discount, so I didnt even use on my '05 Vette. I just like being able to see exactly what the car is going to cost before I get there.

If you want a great deal, Bruce Glueck Chev in FL is ordering C6s at GM Empl price through Oct. No additional fees, and free tag/title if you live in FL. Saved me thousands over the best invoice price I could find.

I think you can order the car and have it delivered to your local dealership for a small fee.
