Frankly, my Vette is the darkest car (LMB) that I ever cared about consistently keeping REALLY clean. Living in Iowa, we have a lot of bugs during the driving season and I hate going for a short drive and having to clean bug crap off the nose and you can't wash the front without doing the rest of the car. I want to drive it way more than I want to clean it but it bugs me to drive it in any other condition than spotless.

"I voluntarily took 60 days off from OT"
My problem (if that's what you wanna call it) is by the time I get the last one clean the first one is dirty again...and that's even if Im not driving them ...This pic is a perfect example..It was taken at an outdoor car show....By the time I finished dusting the C5 convertible it was time to start over again with the SSR..then on down the line....repeat....repeat...repeat...all day long ..One of the many joys of BLACK

I don't enjoy it but on balance of seeing it dirty, I do it. I've managed to get the entire process down to about 15 to 20 minutes. That includes intitial water soak, blot application of soapy wash (correct soap), virgin microfiber gentle cleaning, rinse and blow dry. Rejex helps make that possible.

Sure I do....its just about the only exercise I get, other than walking for miles around car events like Carlisle, Hershey, Charlotte and such!! Washing a car is like relaxation for me....of the mind.

I don't know that "enjoy" is quite the right word to describe washing my car. I enjoy driving my car. I do, however, derive a certain satisfaction from keeping it clean and looking nice but it's more out of a sense of duty or obligation rather than enjoyment.

During the brief moments I am washing it or have just completed it, I do enjoy it. The rest of the time out and about, I feel pretty much guilty because it isn't immaculate and that I should be washing again.

Having just completed 2 days of two washes, clay bar, and 2 coats of Rejex, it looks fabulous and I'm ready to drive it for a while. Now it's raining.
