I bought these from a forum vendor and have had them on my DD for about 4 months now. Yes, they hyperflash and I like it...no..I love it! Hyperflash looks much better to me than the sluggish flashing of the stockers. People see my turn signal flashing even while they are texting . I did not install the extra resistors, or whatever they are, because I didnt want my A4 in traffic burning the hell up from crazy heat dissipation, so I left them out. I get a ton of compliments on them all the time. The pic is with the normal lights on during the day. At night they are VERY bright when I hit the brakes.

The ones that I got did not have the 'hyperflash' at all. I didn't add any resistors to them. They just came that way.

Did you TINT yours? Looks like they are either tinted or they are those "Cherry Tinted' ones I have seen advertised on the forum.

They look good.

Your lights look great. A couple of Qs...
  • Do you need to return your 4 stock units as cores?
  • How's the quality of the overall lamp assemblies compared to the stock ones?
Thx.

No, you buy these (New) as a set (all 4 tail lights). I have my stock ones in a box and could reinstall them if needed in about 10 minutes.

They are pretty much made the same as the stock ones (except they have a ring of LEDS inside the housing). If you have never seen what the stock ones are like, just get a TORK screw driver and they come out with the removal of 1 screw. They are pretty much all plastic.

For $280 it's a no brainer if you like the look.

Default Clear & Chrome

Got the Clear & Chrome LED's in today and installed. The look is fabulous.
You really have to see them in person.
The LED's are as bright or brighter then stock.

Shown below, the lights are not on.

Picture below with on side stock and one side the new LED's.

This is with just the running lights on. The Brake lights are twice as bright.
Actually looks a lot brighter then the picture shows.

They are Eagle Eyes, I think they were $276 with shipping. Absolutely no reason to spend any more then that, there is no difference.

We own a fairly large motorcycle accessories company and are very familiar with LED lights and what is available. This company is an OEM supplier, makes stuff for everyone to their specs and names on the products. They are just as good or better then what came on the car.

Not a huge fan. The lights look less full than stock now, IMO. If it were a Halo like the C5 tails, I'd be all about it. Personally, I'd put LED bulbs in the stock housing and call it a day.
