Default How many Old-Timers do we have here?

I know there are some of you out there. Let's hear from you.

I got my first Vette at 22 in 1955. It was a Polo White with a Red interior and 195 hp V8 with PG. Didn't keep it long after the '57's came out. Had to have a 270hp with a hardtop and roll up windows. Now playing with a 2008 Vert that I just added headers to.

Oh, by the way, today is my B-day.

I had a new 65, glen green convertible, then a new 71, LT1, mulsanne blue convertible, and am now enjoying a 07, lemans blue convertible. Still young at heart.

Happy BD. Bought my first Vette in 1967 at 21. This was a 427/390 Coupe. Wonderful car easy to work on and fast for the day. I have had many since then and bought myself a new 2008 Z06 which is a fantastic car and was a personal BD present. Have a good day!

Golly you really are old! j/k.

Hey, you need to remember that most on this forum have no idea what "PG" is along with a V8 (that, they know). For those who don't, it's not an internet abbreviation; it stands for "powerglide" the crude but relatively reliable 2 speed automatic trans that GM used for many years.

Oh and Happy Birthday!~

Happy BD!

Had a '59 C-1 in 1966. Terrible car. Wish I still had it.

Just turned, "Will you still need me, will you still feed me. When I'm.."
