"New" 2007 C6 Vert Sold for $25 off MS RP
A neighbor's buddy came by over the weekend in his new 2010 all black Camero SS and shared that he had also just bought a fully loaded black on black 2007 vert with less than 50 miles on it for $25K below sticker.
Apparently it had been sitting at the dealer all this time looking for a home. Did he get a good deal?

I really hope that he changed the oil the same day he bought it!! Hard to believe that there was still a new untitled 2007 out there anywhere! The poor guy has the LS2 though (there, that ought to start something!!)

ah...
Hard to guess... $70,000 Car for $45,000? 3 years old... with 50 miles... sounds like the seals could leak... not sure if good deal... maybe a used.. driven car with 10,000 miles would be better.. time will tell...

He said the sticker was $66K which is about right for a fully loaded vert of that time. He said it had everything in it except a block warmer. I mentioned that I was unaware that there was a block warmer option for the C6.

I would be concered on a car that may have just been sitting all this time. Sometimes a slightly used car may be better than one just sitting, particularly in Florida sun. A lightly used 07 vert heavily optioned, would probably sell for a little under 40k.
When my father stopped driving, his car sat for 6 months before my sister took posession. Tires were stuck to the pavement and flat spotted. This was also in Fl.

Read it slowly! He should have stated 25(K) in the title. Clearly it states 25K off in the thread. So he purchased an msrp guessing 65K for 40K. Do the tires have a flat spot? Would drive it first. I assume warrantee begins now as first registered.

A small Chevy/Pontiac dealer near me still has a new, untitled 2007 Monterey Red vert with beige top. He also has a new, untitled 2004 Cosmos Purple GTO. Word has it he buys most of his inventory for cash and sticks to his guns on price, hence, he still has an 04 GTO and an 07 Vette.

I just bought a brand new leftover 2008 3LT Coupe with a sticker of $57,300.00 I traded my 1999 Coupe with 35,500 miles on it. I gave them my keys & title, and $25K cash. The new car was kept in the showroom and had 29 miles on it when I got there. I had to travel 3.5 hours to pick it up, but the car was mint, no lot rot, no paint work, no scratches, no interior wear. I even got the dealer to throw in a warranty at cost and they gave me the money to change the leather from Cobalt red to Black and Red (via Factory Parts).
There are some awesome deals out there if you look hard enough.
