Default Carlisle- Corsa Sport

What were they charging at Carlisle for the Corsa Sport exhaust system? My understanding is that the system itself was discounted and the installation was free.

I didn't make it there this year and now I am planning on putting on Corsa Sport exhaust system. Choice is to do it now or wait until next year. I garage the car for the winter.

Thanks!

I was over at the Corsa install area and was listening to the rep. get into some detail about the Extreme and Sport on C5 and C6's. I already have the Sport on my 2006 coupe so I wasn't paying close attention when he mentioned pricing. I thought he said it was going to be around $1400 or so and yes, the install was free. Looked like all the intallers were fairly busy on Saturday.

Thanks for the info!

Question for you, are you pleased with the Corsa Sports? If you had to do over would you have chosen different Corsa's or a different manufacturer?

PS. StreetSideAuto.com has them for $1,223 with free shipping. So I will probably be going that route. (Part #14169, I have a manual trany.)

I just bought the car about 4 months ago and the Corsa Sport system had just recently been installed by the previous owner. After hearing many systems at Carlisle it convinced me this was the right system for my car. It is still plenty loud when you get on it but on the road cruising has little to no drone at all. The noise cancellation tech. seems to work.

Corsa Sports are absolutely the BEST for the C6. I've loved every mile with them.

I have the Corsa Sports with a BB X mid pipe...I like the sound (and yes at WOT it will let you know you have a performance exhaust yet at cruise a pleasant note) and as stated no drone but there is a bit of 'burble' on a downshift in lower rpms. Nicely made stuff>>

The criticism I hear from the 'American rumble rumble' sound crowd is that the Corsa's sound "too European"... if that is the case then I guess it is the sound I like

I went with Corsa Sport on my Kooks 1 3/4" headers with x-pipe (thanks to Cartek for the install of Stage 1). Great sound, no drone. You can keep 'em tame or break 'em loose at WOT. Quite a nice sound. Heard some "stock" '07's at Carlisle on the autocross course - I could never go back to that!

Personally. I like the Sports a lot better than the Extremes - to each their own. That's why they make different systems!

I've had Corsa Sports with Corsa X-pipe on my '05 M6 for the past 4 years & love 'em. For my taste, sound is just right. Interestingly, at Carlisle this year, I backed into a parking spot where several guys were sitting. When I shut down, they all commented that the exhaust sounded great! But, as you can see from other posts, exhaust "note" is a very personal thing....best to go to some larger cruise or show & try to listen to different set ups.

I ordered the Corsa Sports from StreetSideAuto.com.

Thanks for all of the input.

Corsa's website lets you listen to the Tour, Sport and Extremes. I am sure that it is not a perfect reproduction of each but the Sports seemed the way to go for me. They surely will be a great improvement over my quiet stock system and not be too far over the top that the neighbors complain.
