Two quesitons; concerning splash guards and tint
Splash guards... are they worth it? Do they really do the job?
I've seen some ads for this clear adhesive like thing that you put on your paint instead of using splash guards.
Window tint... I don't care to do it for a cosmetic mod. I'm wondering if anyone has ever noticed a temperature change from it when having to park outside and what tint level you have.
Simple enough I hope.

I can't speak as an authority on the Corvette (yet), but I've tinted every car I've had. Beyond it looking better, which you aren't concerned with, I found that it was always cooler inside since not as much sun made it into the car. And perhaps even more important, I did it because I was interested in protecting the parts of the interior that were exposed to the sun all day (i.e. rear deck, door arm rests, etc.).

Don't forget that at night you will have reduced viz to the sides or rear. My opinion after riding in some tinted cars is that it does reduce heat.
As to splash guards the GM kind work imo, first hand, altho there may be one person who says they don't. I do think there are other plainer kinds that work, too.

I would recommend the splash guards. The C6 is low to the ground and has wide tires, both front and rears. The guards will help keep rocks, sand, and whatever is kicked up from the road by the tires from causing damage to your car. Splash guards won't keep all the water from being sprayed by the tires during wet weather, but hey, I don't think water can cause too many nicks in the paint.
I have the GM splash guards and I think they do their job as advertised and look great doing it.
I haven't tinted my windows yet, but all my friends swear by it. Even "legal" tint will help keep the interior cooler.

I have the GM splash guards and they work well. They keep rocks out of the seam of the panels and protect from stone chips. They also look good
I was on the fence about tint, but it does keep the car cooler and in Arizona that was IMPORTANT

When I lived on the gulf coast, I tinted every vehicle I owned - It definitely made a difference in the interior temperature. It does lower the night visibility some. I never found that to be a significant problem, even at the 17% tint I would use there (pretty dark, but not limo-tint).
I haven't bothered getting tint done here in Northern California - It doesn't get hot where I live (bay area peninsula), I don't even have air conditioning in my house.
The only alternative to splash guards is having clearbra applied to the sides of your car. I have it around the rear brake ducts on my C6Z, though I am considering getting the APSIS front splash guards as well.

Tint definitely does help keep the interior cooler when parked in the sun. It has an even greater impact on eliminating UV which is very destructive to materials in the interior. Good films block 99.9% of UV, 60-80% of Infra-red, 40-70% of Total Solar Energy and reduce glare by 30-60% or more. I have 35% sides, 20% rear. FYI, tints are quoted as Visible Light Transmission, so the lower the number, the "darker" the tint.
As for the Splash Guards, I believe they help protect the paint and the Genuine Corvette Accessory ones look like they belong on the car (similar to the look of the Z06 factory installed ones).

The clear stuff behind the wheels wouldn't work because I got a small chip on the front of my door. Unless you are going to clearbra the whole car you will eventually end up with a chip.

The GM splash guards work really well and look nice.
I have tinted all of my cars. It does reduce interior heat and looks good. My C6 has 35% on all three windows.

Window tint...a definite yes. Keeps the car much cooler. I had mine done halfway through the summer & noticed a difference right away. Limo on the back window and the lightest on the sides (because side window tinting is illegal here in Canada).

Tint is definately worth it. I just got mine done with the top 3M stuff and regardless of how much light transmission it has it still blocks more than 95% of the UV rays from coming in. That translates to less heat and more importantly less fade, drying, etc.. of the interior.

The splash guards are a must if you drive your car very much. The tint greatly reduces the inside temperature. Go with a light tint on the side windows for better night visibility. The hatch cover can go pretty dark.
