Default Drove with hatch lid not completely down

I got home after driving about 5 miles with the hatch lid down but the pull down did not scure the lid. I thought it had secured because the windows were down. I suppose I might have accidently hit the button on the FOB. At least the cargo lights were out so I know the auto shutoff works after 20 min. Would a drive this short distance cause any issues? Thanks.

I've done it a few times without issue.

Default ah...

What kind of issues were you thinking about? Exhaust fumes? They sell a hatch extention, for cars, so you can drive with the hatch open a few inches, to get better air circulation. I have a extention adjustable strap I use when I buy something too big to close the hatch... works great.

Shouldn't you get a "hatch ajar" message on the DIC...

I like getting the message in the DIC and if I am going somewhere fast I will stop and close the hatch, I have driven several times to the office and zero issues

Happens with the vert pretty regularly. Seems the fob gets hit in my pocket. The DIC does show it adjar, no biggy.
