Hello everyone. First time poster here. After 30 yrs of wanting a vette, I just purchased a 2007 vert and I have a quick question. I have seen many questions about volume but nothing about my issue. Whenever I push any of the DIC buttons they beep not once but 10 times. It doesnt matter if the car is parked or driving. Everything else works as it should I am just scratching my head about why it would chime so many times. The head unit was replaced with a bluetoooth one but the previous owner said it has always done this may chimes even with the original unit. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for your help!!

I can't help with a fix but I can tell you that my 2007 chimes only once when I push the buttons. Just confirming that what your car is doing is not normal.

My bet is that the PO was not being honest with you when he said it always did it. The replacement head unit work may have been wired wrong, creating an alarm effect on every button. I only say this because if it were always like this, I would think some owner along the way would have gotten it fixed. I'm betting on bad wiring, or something causing a faulty signal.
