I would not have parked anywhere close to it. My innocent car would have possibly gotten keyed just because it's in the vicinity.

Yes, these types of people are parked at malls across america, lol. I usually look to park next to nicer vehicles... vehicles that you can tell the person would freak if it were damaged... and/or park where only one person can park on one side of you, etc.
If you park way out in the back of the parking lot by yourself, take up two spots or some other weird parking job you're asking for it.

Yes, it was another Iowan - I'll just say from out of town. Tasty looking car also - and best of all, it had Z51 badges also!!!

People who key cars should be put to a slow and agonizing death.
It is precisely that kind of sub-human slime that cause people who actually like their cars to react the only way they can by taking two spots.
Wouldn't it be nice if the owner operators of stores and shopping centers made the parking spots just a bit wider? They make plenty of parking provision for the handicapped. Maybe they can make wider spots for the rest of us. Ooooh no!, there might be a few less parking spots!
Except at Christmas, when was the last time you saw a 100% full parking lot at a mall?

For example, a study into increasing motorcycle and bicycle accident rates commented that many motorist (cars) did not look out for cyclist because they were seen as taking advantage of laws that cars had to follow (lane splitting, stop signs, etc.). Putting yourself above the rules that others are asked/required to obey is never a good thing.

100% Why key one Corvette when you can have 2 for the same price. I would have parked as far away from him as possible!

Saw this at our local mall yesterday. Great to see another C6 - believe it or not, it's pretty rare to see one around town. Unfortunately, another example in my opinion of "how not to park". Just asking for trouble (and a heartache). You can probably guess - I own the blue Vette.

Yes, I was in town for just the evening and following morning but driving around there were no Vettes in sight. I didn't park in any lots except the hotel's and the restaurant's. If I park in a place where there are no cars, I can't imagine why I'd need two spaces.

I wouldn't have parked within a football field of that guy!
