Looks Awesome! chrome/polish looks too boring on a white car.

I love it. I have the black ZR1 repro's on my silver coupe with the glass top/blacked out halo and blacked out lights and it looks tough. Get comments all the time from people saying they have seen me driving around and love it.

I'm 54 and change and I think your car looks badass! Don't change a thing!

I would love a set of all chrome Mesh 8's for mine though...

I think it looks pretty sharp. I'm planning on doing the tinted tails/side markers as well on my White coupe and I still don't know what I am going to do with the wheels. Either chrome my gumbys or go for something black. These pics are helping me make my decision though

Nice.. sounds very similar to my car, except i have black z06 repro's. Any pics of your car with the zr1's? I almost bought them and have yet to see them on a silver car.

Us "Old Schoolers" "Blue Hair" and "Old Fogies" have been there, done that. If you think chrome is "so 80s" then black spokes are so 29s and 30s.

But the person making the payments should do it his/her own way.

I don't know who here said chrome is so 80's when it's actually colored wheels and deep dishes started in the 80's, and I didn't like them then either. That doesn't mean I'm a chrome lover because I'm not, I like polished AL and various shades of gray to silver made with paints or coatings.

The "so 80s" came from a post about 3 days ago on this same subject. I could not find my picture then.
Keep your head down over there.

Looks great Brian!!! Love the new look.

Say, did you lower it some more with the stock bolts? Thinking of cutting a little on the rears.

Thanks,
Mike

I like white but .... white just looks like it needs a good coat of "VY", "Jake Chicklet", and a "Z51 Emblem" !

Just KIDDING .. you know .. pulling your chain .. It looks fine !

Both my wife and I really like it. We are torn between getting a white one or orange, we think they both look better with the black rims.

Of course my former Jeep was white with black rims, my current landcruiser is white with black rims. I guess I kind of like the look.

Looks great.

I like it! I'm not sure if I would want solid black wheels but it does look good on your car. That's what's good about doing your own thing, you are the only ones that needs to be pleased.
