Cash for Clunkers no more?
I heard on the news that the Cash For Clunkers program is ending - kaput. The reason being it cost too much (well duh, that was apparent from the beginning, at least to this dull mind of mine).

Something the People could use
The govt. finally did something right and provided something the people could get on board with and of course they burned right through the $1B.
Now what they should do is take some of the other stimulus money and use that to keep a successful program going for a little while longer.

Yes, apparently the $1 Billion has been used up, although the gov't had nothing in place to track the usage accurately. Just goes to show you - they cannot even run that program effectively, and now they want to run national healthcare? God help us.
