I'm Back on the Forum. New Car Pics

Wow... I can't believe those pictures. So is that new house built on the same poperty as the old burned down house? Or did you move? I'm glad to see your getting your life back together again, its a terrible tragedy with a happy ending.
Just curious though, when the fire department told you to get out, why could you not take your car with you? I would've thought you would have loaded as much as you could in your car in 5 minutes and just got out of there?

For many if not most of us it is hard to imagine what you have been through during the past several months. The degree of devastation and the suddenness of it, obviously turned your life upside down as it does to others in natural disasters. It is good to see that you are able to be putting various pieces of your world back together. Thank you for sharing this saga with us.
Best wishes for miles of smiles in the new Camaro. I'd love feedback on your thoughts about it after you have been able to spend time with the car.

fellow enthusiast...
Nice ride and wish i knew you better, its clear many members poured out with more generosity than expected and thats the nature of car guys and gal's, its these friendships that make the cars so much fun.
Just going back and seeing a glimpse of your past cause me to learn and be glad i have the coverage to get me through, having enough insurance is always better before a loss. Glad you got through, things can be replaced.
Your loss causes me to make sure i'm covered in all area's, nice to see your new ride too. Great color btw.

Congratulations. Here is one of my comments from the first thread..."All I can say is that it sounds like you are well grounded and will come out the other side a better person with better friends." Sounds to me like that is the case. Best of luck with the new car

glad to see your stuff getting back to the way you want it. i am sure the first year camaro will have its share of issues (hopefully nothing drivetrain) but do like the looks. inside i go back and forth but really like the "old style" gauges down low

Yup, have the parts but am having issues finding someone to install them. Dealership won't have anyone on staff to do it until August.

Too bad you were not local to me... My body shop paints them on.. and clear coats... look great. I have had decals, they are a pain to keep up, to wax or not to wax.. the edge where wax collects.. I have Camaros, a 1969 & a 1970 both have the stripes painted on... way eaiser to live with, no edge. I also have a 1977 Z28 with the decals... hard to keep looking good... fyi...

Great to here from you..I have been through your neighborhood a few times and see that several of you are about finished with your new homes. Your new car looks great too, but I'm just bias, I liked the silver vette better But the Camaro is sharp! Hope things keep getting better, I will see ya around soon I'm sure.

It was good to meet you at the show last month. Yeah, I liked the Vette too but decided the Camaro was a better choice for me at the moment. I'm sure I'll see ya around. Hopefully I'll have my black stripes installed next week. Should be pretty easy to spot .

Enjoy The Camaro, but better yet enjoy the New Home.
