Default My new black chrome JAKE chicklets...pics

Thanks to a few members on here I was able to find some. I was looking for black chrome or carbon fiber to match my JSB with carbon fiber and black. My Corvette bumper insert is already black chrome so I think it looks good.

I found them on that popular aution website and highly recomend them. Great quality and cost just under $50 shipped.

It's too hot today to wash the car (102 degrees) so excuse the dirty car.

GO LONGHORNS...beat the tigers!!!

Very easy to just pry off with plastic trim removal tools or even an old credit card putting them behind the chicklet and slicing down to separate the chicklet glue from the body...dont use anything metal as you may scratch the paint...I've done it twice with no damage to the finish...

All the black out pieces came from RPI, a forum vendor. Taillights, back up lights, fog lights and side markers. I do recomend getting some more clear 3m tape to secure them better.

I used a plastic zip tie to pull them off. Then some acetone to get all the tape glue off, cleaned with windex and applied the new ones.
