2006 C6 price check please
Ok, so I'm looking to buy a C6 Corvette and really wanted a 2008 or newer, but I just don't think I would be comfortable with the price of admission. So I started looking at '06 and '07 (left out the '05 since I never like the first year of any new car).
This is what I found and it has pretty much all of the options I really want.
2006 Coupe
17,000 miles
Silver/black int (love the colors)
Automatic (must have this)
3LT package (must have this)
F55 suspension (really want this)
Navigation (really want this)
Chrome wheels (not a big deal to me)
Pics look clean online, haven't seen it in person yet.
Dealer's asking price is $33K.
What would you guys consider a good deal on this car, assuming it looks good in person and the VIN is clean (no accidents, etc.).
I have a late model trade-in ('08 Mustang GT) so I'm expecting to be insulted by the dealer's trade offer, so I'd like to keep the Vette price as low as possible to offset the beating I'll likely take on the trade.

I'm thinking 30 is a good price if it is in really clean condition. That is low miles and well equiped. I would seel the Mustang privately. At least that exactly what I did - sold my Mustang GT vert and bought a silver/black 06 C6 A6.

I would also check the condition of the tires. If they are pretty much shot, then a new set will set you back $2K depending on the model. Obviously you can negotiate it at this point. I would also think about negotiating a GMPP at this time. You can compare with forum vendors like Fitchner. They get high praises here.
