Will Corvette Quality Stay the Same in the NEW GM

You dont have to try very hard, repair issues do it for the car.
Good points.
But, Toyota and Honda are much worse and often squeezes suppliers even harder then GM. This is probably why Toyota prices have increased while quality has dipped along with sales. Toyota although not in the headlines is having major sales and quality issues.
As for the Corvette it gets better every year. Despite many on this forum that try so darn hard to hurt it's reputation.

The quality problems with the Camero show nothing has changed.

And that article you linked to is a piece of crap. We didn't put up that list because those problems "plagued" the Camaro like Edmunds insinuated. We put it up because every once in a while someone would come in with a complaint. One of the members had a good idea to compile all those things. They're all one-off flukes of building a mass-produced car. Regardless, the list is gone now...because of doofuses like Edmunds.
btw...99% of Camaros on the site were flawless...but even negatively assuming that that list was true for all cars...that's still 68 problems per 100 vehicles...WAY HIGH up on the JDPower quality list for the industry.

GM is GM What they did they will probably continue to do. The bigger issue is what is the Union going to do with their ownership part of the pie? Will they continue to act in a way that will continue to lesson GM'S Performance and Longevity.

That ownership stake will be let go soon. It's invested in the VEBA trust (healthcare responsibilities have been shifted to the Union)...and the trust can't be funded by paper. They'll have to cash in when the company goes public next year. Good news is: if recent concessions and general attitude is any indication of the future, GM will have a healthy relationship with the Union going forward.

Slight correction. Some banks are being ALLOWED to give back the money. http://money.cnn.com/2009/06/09/news...es/banks_tarp/ These are banks that didn't need or want the money to begin with. They have been begging to give the money back so they won't be subject to GWDJ (Government Whim Du Jour). With GM's power in the "global warming" and "clean fuel" areas, I have to believe it will be a cold day before the current administration allows them freedom again.

They are doing a great job with GM so far. Sit back and stop being a nay sayer.
