Looks as if the steel belts left in the shredded tire was the culprit.

a little bondo should do the trick...sand her down...rattle can white...good to go...

OUCH
Make sure you get a good body shop to work on your car. Try not to let them blend this panel with the door. White is one of the hardest colors to match, it has way too many alts to deal with.

I think all road gators should be euthanized. They are everywhere!
