I don't think so. The car is just body work, brakes, wheels and tires. A lot of members here already have that stuff. The GS owners will have the same issues and operational questions as the rest of us "regular" C6 folks.

No.

I DO like the car a lot but what about a 3LT section? A Z51 section? A roadster section? Get it?

It's really nothing more than an option.

It should die down soon once everybody digests all the info and pics. You have to figure it will be late August before anyone has one, depending on production schedules and constraints. 2010 production doesn't start 'till July 29, for 2 days, then the plant shuts down again.

Coupe is a model. It doesn't have a separate section. The vert is a model. It doesn't have a separate section.

The number of Grand Sport threads will shrink shortly, especially after the price is announced.

It doesn't need a separate section at all. I don't even think the Z06 or ZR1 needs different sections. In all honesty, when I visit a site that has too many sections to it, I get tired of having to jump from one area to the next. IMO there should just be one section for each generation. I don't see the point of having 4 or 5 different sections for C6s and 4 or 5 different sections for the C5, and so on. It ends up taking forever trying to read through each one of them.

It doesn't need a section so long as it has badges.

Like everything else, in time, the number of topics and discussion will taper off to a normal level
