It took you from Aug., '08 until now to post up pics? You must be as techno-retro as me!

Welcome, with the pics!

It IS a white top. The choices in were black, oak or white. I had to have the white top with TR interior. First year for the TR interior. I do like it. I was surprised that the C6 converts could not be ordered with a white top.

Doggone it. You are right. Just when I thought I had this down right. Nuts. Something else to figure out. And for a minute I was so proud of myself.

Nice Vettes man, too bad you did not find the forum back in 00 when you got your first one. Its a very informative place.

With the left-hand column of forum sponsors, the navigation and the vertical chrome,
the perfect size for pics to avoid forced horizontal scrolling is just under 800 pxl wide
for 1024x768 screen resolution which the majority (44%) of today's internet use
(source: thecounter.com.)

Thanks for all the kind words. The C5 was special ordered after my wife said "It is time for you to have a Corvette". It is missing no options. It was a long wait but well worth it. I had sat in a 1957 red Corvette with a white top when I was but a child. I clearly remember telling the salesman that someday.......and finally, "someday" happened.

The C6 was purchased from a dealers stock. I had no time to wait for an ordered car. Although it IS missing some options it is just fine the way it is. Yes, they are both great but the C6 sure shows me that 91 more horses DOES mean something. Oh my gosh!!

Congrats. Great looking rides.

P.S.
The pics are just the right size. Some people just need to get a better monitor.

Congrats!
Most people debate coupe vs. vert. You did it right - 1 of each!

Don't feel bad, you did good. Many members take a while to figure out how to post pics, and a few don't ever get the procedure down right.

As Barney, that lovable Dino says:

"When you mix red and yellow you get orange!"

And there have been some great orange colored Vettes over the years.

Congrats
