Also won't work if you don't have a carburetor (no choke).

I saw a kit once that was being marketed to low riders. It included a fuel pump, coil,a spark plug, and a nozzle. It sprayed gasoline into the exhaust pipe just a little upstream of the exhaust outlet. Tlhe spark plug set off the flame. So,a cat reactor wouldn't be a problem.

.........No more problems with tail gaters! The flat tail surface of a C6 probably causes (on purpose) an eddy current or vortex behind the car. There may be a problem that the flame will swirl back and singe the paint.

Is it this kind of flame thrower you're looking for?

Default flame-on

I agree it would not be a good idea, the position of the exhaust in relation to the body work would probably burn the car to the ground.I do like flamethrowers, but knowing my luck something would go wrong and the car would burn and the ins. co. would say it was my fault and not pay.My wife wife would then be so pissed !

Yo! Vin Diesel. It's a Vette. Not a chopped and channeled '56 Olds.

If you are going to do it you might as well reap some performance gains.

I give you- The Turbonique Rocket. Real product from the '70's.

You could use the rocket motor to spin a turbine or, as in the GTO, just blast it out the back.
