Installed the SLP Loudmouth!!
I got the SLP Loudmouth delivered via the Big Brown Truck of Goodness this past Friday. My wife and two of my best friends (Joe-a Corvette owner and Cesar) and my two sons help install it on Saturday. Man, what a difference in sound. At idle, the sound is much more deep than the NPP was, even with the fuse pulled. Get on it and man, it wails. The sound is best described as C6Rish. Cruising on the highway, it is not very noticeable, with minimal drone.
It does cause you to short shift in town, to keep from attracting unwanted attention. The upside to that is that my average fuel economy over the last three days has increased to 24 mpg. On the highway driving from Harlingen to McAllen, the instant fuel economy was between 31 and 33 mpg.
Talk about having your cake and eating it too!!
The only problems that we experienced was that the tips did not line up very well, and one of the band clamps would not hold the tip in place (just went out and bought another clamp, 3 dollar fix). I can say that I LOVE the SLP exhaust.

I actually had the weekend off. On my schedule I get two weekends off every 6 weeks. My list of honey do's were completed the weekend prior, since the wife and kids were gone.
So, this past weekend was devoted to (mostly) car fun. We:
1. Replaced the exhaust on Joe's C4 with muffler eliminators.
2. Replaced all the weatherstripping on Joe's car. Since I had experience doing it (had replaced all the weatherstripping on my old C4.
3. Replaced the NPP with the Loudmouth on my car.
4. Washed and waxed Joe's C4.
5. Washed, clay barred and sealed my wife's new Dodge Ram Quad Cab pickup.
6. Washed and detail sprayed my C6. Also wiped down the engine bay, and especially the polished plenum cover from Nakid Parts.
7. Fixed the drain in the shower of the master bathroom.
8. Replaced the innards in my oldest son's toilet in his bathroom.
9. Went out to a night club Saturday night.
10. Change out the clutch fluid on my C6.
11. Lubed the wife.
12. Drank a few beers and half a bottle of Glenlivet 18 year old Scotch.

Did you install the Loudmouth or Loudmouth2?
I've heard the Loudmouth2 on a C6 and really liked it, not to loud at all but nice and deep. I'd like to hear how much louder the Loudmouths are and how the tone compares.
