Corvette Demographics - 2009
Here's an interesting link to Corvette demographics - 2009. The first caption is "Vette Owners Quick to Customize." Than can't be true, can it?. 
Their data indicates that 47% of Corvette owners modified their car within 1-3 weeks and 22% within 1-2 months. They must have polled everyone on this forum, because this sounds about right.

I believe that percentage that modifies in the first 3 months is about right. I had parts ready and waitingto be installed on the day after I drove home from Museum delivery.

Thanks for a great site. Interesting but 59% of Vette buyers are between 46-66 years old. The same age of people, with some good incomes, that probably got killed in the stock market. My bet is the 2010 is a very limited addition......

In the section of top 10 mods, only 2% spent money on an alarm to protect the money they spent on mods. I guess that's because most are garage kept

Safety Car
Great post. I found it interesting that only 5% participate in autocross. That seems really low considering the % of people that buy the Z51 option which is designed for autocross.

Most peeps that have the C6 or other late Vettes dont mod.
They are just a toy that old flush dudes get.
