Chuck cow ATTACK PACKAGE...W/342s
OMG! I have to say that I was unsure about Chuck's A6 Attack Package rear end.
I was calling him about putting a MAGGIE supercharger on my 07 A6 Vette.
He told me to wait and try out his rear end first. I wasn't sure I was making the right decision, but I trusted him.
OMG!
The CHUCK CoW A6 ATTACK PACKAGE 3.42 REAR END and his new 08 A6 TOTAL ATTACK TRANSMISSION TUNE IS THE BOMB!
You can't possibly understand how quick and fast this car is now. The most difficult thing to process is how civil and "stock" it feels when driving around town or on the freeway. It feels like you never modded the car untill you press on the pedal. Then watch out!
My car is now a FREEKIN JECKYL & HYDE MONSTER!!!
One second I'm cruisin on the freeway like stock and the next second it's like an out of control MONSTER!
When cruising on the freeway at 70mph the rpms in 6th gear are 1,975. UNREAL. It feels like stock. It makes no noise or sounds. His tune downsifts one gear at a time placing you EXACTLY in the RPM band for what what you are doing. It's almost like the transmission "KNOWS" what you want to do without even asking.
Honestly, I was unsure about the rear end he offers because I never see anyone else doing it... But. OMG, it was inexpensive, easy and is INCREDIBLY fun to drive.
This car is CRAZY now when you want it to be and a pussycat when you're just cruising. It puts down rubber at 80 MPH and shifts so smooth around town you can't even tell it's shifting.
DISCLAIMER: While tuning the car today Chuck was driving. He started telling me to leave the traction control on. (yeah right!) He went on about driving carefully, don't do this, don't drive like that and be VERY careful. He really tried to impress on that this car was downright DANGEROUS and I thought he was just thinking I was wimp or something like that.
When he was finished, he let me drive.HOLY S**T! He was totally right!
All I have to say is THANK GOD I MADE MY CAR A WIDEBODY.
My only HI PERF mods are a VARARAM, STAT, BORLA CAT BACK, CHUCK'S TUNE, and his A6 TOTAL ATTACK PACKAGE REAR END.
I've hardly spent much money on performance mods this past 2 years and I could not be happier with the performance and Chuck's customer service.
You really have to drive my car to believe it!
P:S BTW...since getting back into owning a sports car since the 70s,,,I never really understood why so many of todays drivers got away from old school...what I mean by that is----in the 70s we would die for 400 hp....but we took other routes,it was'nt dyno or super chargers---it was suspension and rear gears,,, 4:11s,4:56s and so on...no one really puts much thought into that anymore...thats one of the reasons I did it when Chuck told me about his 3:42 rear end....with the way the A6s tranny is geared,this is amazing....basically stock,but unreal speed and performance...I have to believe that my car is just as or close to a super charged vette in the 1/4 mile,at 1/4 of the price and way more reliable....If anyone would like to test drive this I welcome you,,,you will be white knuckled...

would love to see some 1/4 mile track times or dyno. I have the cow tune as well and it is really crazy better now. stock is great but like you i was blown away, i need to see him to do the trans and hera that will liven me up even more. considering headers and cat now. great post. paul

Sounds awesome. I'd love to do that to mine. Hopefully Chuck will make it out to the Chicago area soon! I've got spring mod fever.

Congratulations! The 342 is truly a beast and Chuck's magic really bring it all together. Have fun with her and be careful - she really is easy to get away from you now!
