Default Splash Guards

I'm thinking of putting GM splash guards on my 08 vert. Has anyone installed them? If so, can you send me a picture of what they look like - I'm concerned that they stick out too far from the body of the car. Also, was the installation as easy as the instructions make it look? thanks

The installation is as easy as the instructions make it look. Just make sure to use the proper size drill bit.

Here's some pics:

Here they are on mine.....they don't stick out NEARLY as far as the Apsis or even the OEM Z06 guards. I think they fit the body contour perfectly actually.

I did mine yesterday. Hardest part was taking off the rear wheels. Piece of cake. 1 hour max time. I checked and rechecked before I drilled the rear holes. You need to make sure you have the correct drill bit. I used an awl to make sure the holes were centered, be sure and drill slowly, its only plastic. Looks good when you finish.

I put the Z06'S on mine and I am happy with them. They do stick out a little further than I would like. They are on now and going to stay. I would like to put the G.M.'S ON THE FRONT. Can't find a set just for the front, you have to buy a set.

I was a big fan of these and Nakidparts but trust me they don't even compare to the GCA ones. I took these off to put the new ones on.

I can't post pictures, but I did inst these on my 06 vert. I think they look great, very subtle , and they actually provide some protection. The front ones are easy, the rear aren't to bad once you have the wheels off.

I'll explain in further detail for the customer.

If you purchase a GM accessory, it is warranted for 12 months 12,000 miles.

If you purchase a GM accessory (prior to delivery) and have it installed it is now covered under the 3 year 36,000 mile warranty.
