Yes, better!
I guess I'm conservative about this because my wife's grandmother (in her 80s) was just killed in an accident. She shouldn't have been driving, blind in one eye, and pulled out into 55 mph zone right in front of a car. Died in a coma a few days latter. All of this has reinforced my belief that, at a certain age, we should be handing in our keys.

For everyone else, mandatory testing (written and road test) every 5 years or so would probably keep a lot of other dangerous people off the road.
BTW, for me, never too old.

I'll stop driving it when they either take away my license or the family convinces me I should not drive. Note I said stop DRIVING it. I'll probably keep it just to look at and maybe I can get someone to drive me around in it.

The obvious when it comes to aging but when you get into it and it doesn't make you smile any more, then its time. Not always is age a bad thing...I had a great grandfather who at 98 years old, went down and took his driver's test to get his license again. The news interviewed him at the time asking why at 98 that he wanted his license? His response was, "I'm tired of walking to work!" He was active and still in realestate at the time. I think his time on earth was done at 107 years old. Oh yes, he passed the test easily.
