I live in Florida. The elderly are really dangerous down here. I feel the elderly should be forced to take a driving test every year after a certain age. This would make driving on I95 a lot safer.

2 things to look for if you think you are too old......you put less than 10k a year on the car and the lawn mower comes out of the garage more than the car

If you're asking this question you may already be too old to drive your Vette.

I would agree with when you cannot get out. Age in and of itself is no impediment.

[QUOTE=mongooseC6;1568905754]When I can no longer extricate myself from the Vette and I die from starvation.[/QUOTE

There is some truth to this,,, Corvettes I have purchased thru the years I have let my father drive it or in later years gave him a ride.. Last year when I bought the 08 I gave him a ride in it and when it was time for him to get out he couldn't.. Not wanting to hurt his pride (87 yrs) I helped a little but what a time we had for him to get out...

You are too old for your Corvette when you can't get your walker in any longer!

That is a very good question with some funny and humorous answers above. The real answers, and there are more than one, are that it really differs for each of us. The unfortunate part is that sometimes we don't know---we don't know when to say, the ride is over, time to get off the horse.

I don't have an answer. For me, I hope the time never comes, but it usually does to almost everyone for one reason or another.
