A Boy's Dream (C6 Corvette Commercial)

Supposedly this Commercial was banned as it showed Kids stunt driving and someone thought it gave a bad impression to children

not to my knowledge. I first saw it more than a year ago, and then more recently as well. If it's banned, it wouldn't have shown up in the past 6-9 months.

A great commercial like this can get cancelled due to PC. Another PC victim.

It was banned, I've posted it here many times, I think they did a great job on this one. I love it.

If memory serves me, it was produced to air during the 2004 Olympics to introduce the new 2005 C6 car. It wasn't banned but GM was pressured by a number of special interest groups to pull the commercial from TV. By that time, GM had gotten the publicity they were looking for.

It is a super commercial. It should be still on TV. I have it saved to my computer.

It was played all through the Olympics since that had the biggest American audience short of a Super Bowl. Once the Olympics finished the commercial had done its' job and GM moved on to its' normal limited bill boards and magazine ad's. GM really doesn't advertise the Corvette much beyond the launch of a new model. The C6 advertising launch included the Olympic commercial, featured on Travel Channels' "Kings of the Road" along with the new Mustang launch, and was the focus of Discovery Channels' "Rebuilding an Icon."
