Does XM sound better lately?
I don't know if it's just me but I had not listened to my XM for a bit and today when I tuned it in I swear it sounded better. A fuller, less tinny sound.

No difference noted. Still spotty coverage. Whats with all the talking between songs now (on 46, 49 and 25)? It is getting to sound like the regular radio trash stations. Just play music please.

I wouldnt know -- i called twice and got the 77/year deal with them, they refused to send me a bill so I could send them a check though (I refuse to give them my credit card #)
I kinda miss it - but if they want to run a poor business, I really don't care.

mine still sounds like crap- especially rock music (way too much compression going on). and the volume is ridiculously low, so by the time you turn it up, the stupid blows EQ kicks in and reduces the treble and bass by two fold.
so irritating...
so irritating...

I had my car out today for the first time in a long time and I listened to XM while driving it. It still had the same sound that it always had.

XM is known to send out "come back to XM" postcards
People on here have taken that knowledge and used it to there advantage.
What you can do is call up and say one of your friends or family received a card in the mail for a $77 price. You would like the same offer.
State that about 3 - 5 times and you should get it.
Finally when they ask you to pay via ccard say "Please bill me"
They will offer a free extra month for your CC... but decline.
If they dont bite on giving you the $77 because a family member has it.
Hang up and call again with a different operator.
My Father in law told them I had it for $77 and they gave it to him for $77.
