I always wave! 
I think it is really cool! I love when I have a passenger that doesn't know why I wave, they always say "You know them?" then I explain that all Corvette drivers wave at other Corvettes and everyone always says "Oh, that is really cool".
Sometimes other Vettes don't see you until it is too late. I never worry about it if I don't get a wave back.

We always do the wave to other Vettes but only when the top is off. Otherwise, we keep hitting our heads

Yes. When I see a Vette I wave. I do not have to be driving mine.
So when it is a lady Vette driver I do wave, but do not look to see if she waves back or not

I always wave. And my girlfriend hates it when I do that.
We went to a nice drive to Monterey, CA yesterday. I waved and got it back many times. EXCEPT FROM A ZHZ.
Folks, maybe we should not wave at ZHZs. Let them learn, buy one, and then wave at them.
