Is this just for the rings, or does it also include the entire console as in pic 3

I would hope that price it includes the console, otherwise why not just buy the entire console for a couple dollars more.

The Cup Holder Ring/Shifter Ring is part of the Center Console. But we will send you the Chrome Plated Cup Holder Ring/Shifter Ring only. When you do installation, you will remove the Center Console first and then swap the Cup Holder Ring/Shifter Ring.

Yes, you can buy GM's 08 Center Console to upgrade if yours comes with the plain trim plate. If you have the trim palte with passenger airbag or with adjustable suspension, then the 08 Center Consle won't work for you. Also, if you already do something to your existing Center Console such as if you have painted it or if you purchased GM's carbon kit or if you have upgraded with our real carbon dashes.... then it will make sense to just change the Chrome Cup Holder Ring/Shifter Ring instead of changing the whole Center Console. This is where we shoot for and indeed there are many customers had purchased this nice product from us already.

If $325 is with the console, what is the price of the rings only - no console?

Let me make it more clear. The Chrome Plated Cup Holder Ring/Shifter Ring is $325 + refundable core charge $100. It won't include the Center Console. Hope no more misunderstanding.

You already have Center Console. You just change the ring only.

So, it is $ 425.00 for the two rings and you get $ 100.00 for sending your old rings back? That would make $ 325.00 net or $ 162.50 per ring?

Yes, upfront you will pay $425 and later you will get back $100 once we receive your core return. So your net cost is $325.

You can mod the F55 switch on the 2008 Console to work with earlier cars. Someone has a write up.

Also you just "bury" the Passenger Airbag light, as long as you don't plan on selling it. If you want to do that, cut a square in the 2008 console and install the light.

I mean it is work, but what mods aren't?

Yes, you can mod anything to work but the problem is not everybody is handy. So we offer the option to the customer who won't want to go with that route.
