Default ..where is your aftermarket amp located ?

I'm wondering where did you guys mount your after market amp at ?

I'm thinking of making a bracket and some how installing it behind the passenger or driver seat area .....

In my C5, I mounted mine vertically between the tailights on the rear bulkhead there.......kept it out of the way, and looked good there too -- I presume that you could do the same thing with your C6.........

Did mounting the amp behind the rear seat loose any rear movement of the seat?

You can move the seat all the way back but at that point the amp will start to rub on the seat if someone is actually sitting in it. I keep the seat moved up a single notch and even with a passenger it works just fine.

Only draw back is the seat wont go all the way back. a couple other places might be in the cubby or a small one might fit down a pillar? A crazy spot is behind the rear tail lights,,,,there is a ton of room but dont know if you could keep it dry? It might work

In my 05 I have dual PDX amps in the right side storage bin, left side has the JL sub. Behind the seats I put the BA cross-overs and the Pioneer iPOD, XM, Sirrus, and analog TV tuner to go with the Z2.

I didn't mount it using the same metal piece unit as toxin440. I was speaking to the overall location, not the method. Sorry for the confusion.
