Why Me? Keying a corvette not cool!
So today I go to renew my tag like a good tax paying citizen, I'm there about an hour and this is what I come back to. I new I shouldn't have driven the vette, but I'm on vacation for gosh sakes why can't I enjoy it! Does this happen often? I've only had my car since July and this is twice once with Chapstick and now this is real body work ahead? How often does this happen to other vette owners?

very sorry to see that. I had coke thrown on my car in Florida (fortunately, I got to it before the sun was up in the sky to wash it off). But yours is worse.:o

That blows. Fortunately, I have not had such an experience. That sort of thing reminds us that there are a great many losers with whom we must share our world.

Sorry to hear. Sad to say, but you're really taking your chances leaving a new Corvette unattended in a public place these days.
It's not just people who can't afford one. Rich punk kids will do this sort of thing too.

I had my new SRT8 Magnum keyed when it was 6 months old. I feel bad for you. The good news is I found the best body man around a no one could ever notice it was repaired. There are so many punks out there these days. I say just shoot them in the leg so they never forget what price they had to pay.

Look at it this way. Their lives are so horrible and they feel so low about themselves that they have to resort to this kind of destructive behavior to vent out all of pain they are feeling.
Don't wory mate, that is some bad Karma right there...the person who did this WILL pay for it one way or another.
I am very, very sorry this happened to your 'Vette.
The DMV by me in DE has security cameras all over the place, does yours? See if it may have been caught on tape.

Sorry to see the damage done by some idiot, it has not happened to me with the Vette but has happened with other cars in the past. Just a shame people can not respect the propery of others.

I had an 02 ZO6 that had swastikas carved into it a few years back....then early this year I had an 06 Viper Coupe that got keyed,so i feel your pain my friend.
