I found it a bit deceptive that you chose a picture of a two-tone cover with Corvette logo and called it $169. Now you say those two items are extra-cost options. Hmmm. I don't care for that sort of advertising.

Was not meant to be deceptive....just do not have a picture of the plain red cover....Coverking offers a huge variety of Covers and colors and they do not have a image on a Corvette of every single combination.
I think we very clearly state "Red Stormproof" in the post. I am sorry if you felt misled....

Check with your attorney. It's called "deceptive advertising", or worse. You ought to at least consider a disclaimer on the picture indicating that this is really not what you are advertising for $169.
Otherwise, it's quite deceptive. And I think you know it.

With the lock kit, is that more to keep people from looking under the cover or keeping the cover still attached to the Vette? Just seeing if it's worthwhile. Thanks.

Sorry, Jim, that's an excuse, not a reason. You ought to break out your digital camera and take a picture of the actual product you are trying to sell. You don't need to take a picture of "every single combination", do you? Just the red plain jane model you are advertising for $169.

Ok....I am sorry the ad tricked you (or tried), nobody else seems to of been deceived but you. We have sold a ton of covers and not a SINGLE person has called me or posted here that they thought they thought they were getting the Black and Red Cover and only got a Red one. How do you explain that? They just decided to suck it up and did not want to admit they had been tricked?
By the way, did you actually get deceived and place an order or did you just figure out the "big trick" the last minute before you placed the order and decide to "warn" everyone of your big discovery?
Come on, give me a break.....If I was try to decieve someone I would do a better job than this. Anyway, I amended my ad per your request with a big bold warning about the picture (just in case the did not see it in the previous ad).
The disclaimer you asked for is in Red....Does my ad meet your moral minimum requirements now?
CoverKing is offering a blowout price on their StormProof Red car covers. They normally sell for $260+ but due to an over supply of Red Stormproof fabric they are on sale (while supplies last) for $169.00.
This sale lasts until Coverking tells us they are out of material....
More info and ordering below...
Coverking Stormproof Corvette Car Cover
"PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PICTURE SHOWN IS NOT THE EXACT SAME COLOR CAR COVER WE ARE OFFERING AT THIS PRICE. THIS IS THE TWO TONE STORMPROOF COVER IN RED AND BLACK, THE ONE WE ARE OFFER IS THE ALL RED STORMPROOF COVER"
Thanks,
Jim

Thanks for the info. I just ordered the cover and the wild to mild remote for my new coupe. I don't pick the car up until 9-1, but I'll have a cover to look at for a few days!

the cover is great, but it would be nice to show the exact one you are ordering. I am sure there are hundreds of pics from members who would share them for this special sale.

Jim,
I bought one of the cover king covers for my corvette from you a year or so ago.
I need a cover for my 2006 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S.
Priced it out on your website below:
Item SKU Description Price
579 (3317766-CVC4SP94) CUSTOM VEHICLE COVER STORMPROOF (TM) RED CLASS 4 for 2006 Porsche Cayenne w/o roof rack, w/o rear-mounted spare tire 358.69
Can I get that deal on this cover if I go with the red Stormproof vs. the $358.69 quoted?
Thanks
